The snow storm started in the evening of Jan 6th. These pics are taken in the morning of Jan 7th. Bosphorus was closed for traffic due to weather conditions. 

The joke is that maybe Russian hackers crushed the weather system in Turkey. Everything is possible. The Turkish Minister of energy points that US hackers are behind electricity blackouts over last two weeks.
